Q. Who can enter/participate? A. Anyone. There is no bar on any country or region. The contest is open to global participation. Q. Any registration fee? A. The registration fee of INR 1500 (USD 15/Euro 12/-) can be paid online. Q. Which languages are allowed for Song and Musical Composition Competitions? A. The Contest is open to all Indian and International languages and dialects. Q. What should be the duration of the song? A. 3-5 minutes without credits. Q. What is the criteria for evaluation? A. The criteria shall be decided by the respective Jury. However, generally, it is based on originality, creativity, innovation and melody. Q. Can I submit more than one entry? A. Yes, you can pay for multiple entries and enter as many submissions as you want. Q. What is meant by musical composition, song or musical performance? A. The musical composition is a song composition with vocals and instrumentation. A song performance can be with or without instrumentation. The musical performance can be rendition of any musical instrument. Q. Can I change the submission after entering? A. Yes, you can change the submitted entry before closing of the deadline. Q. How does Diorama judge my submission? A. Your submission shall be judged by an eminent jury who may like to mentor you for performance at the Diorama Awards Ceremony. Q. Can I use an archival or other stock sound? A. No. However licensed music or effects can be used but with submission of a proper License purchased by you. Diorama doesn’t permit any unauthorized use of music, effects, sounds. Q. What about copyrights of my song, composition or performance after the contest? A. You are free to use it any way or form , once the final results are announced at the festival. Q. Can I sponsor this event? A. Please mail us at partnerships@diorama.in Q. Do I need to sign the Undertaking and the Agreement? A. Yes.
